The cost of the Complete Trocar Kit (supplies) is billable to the patient for a fee of $30.00-35.00. The patient may submit the claim for possible reimbursement to their insurance company using the CPT code for supplies: A4550. This CPT code is also used for insurance claims for physicians who are insurance providers. If the patients insurance does not cover supplies, the physician may request that the patient purchase the kit directly from the pharmacy or supplier at a patient cost of $35.00. Related CPT Codes:
